Jimmy Biggs- Cactus

The ladies next doors had a fire one night
A tragedy for us, my friend
Our records, they felt it
Through the walls, they melted
We had to start over again

Summer still reigns
From a throne shone through
The doors that Autumn leaves,
Frost hardens the ground
That Winter gardens
And though we broke the circle, it
Was Spring that was loaded

You’re as pretty as an avalanche
Let the villagers attack us
I’ll cut short their march
Like a cross-dressing cactus

Because for you I would perish, miss
Don’t think that I won’t do it
Anything for one nectar kiss
Whilst I protected your tulips

Summer still reigns
From a throne shone through
The doors that Autumn leaves,
Frost hardens the ground
That Winter gardens
And though we broke the circle, it
Was Spring that was loaded

Rushes and reeds hang from much of the seeds
And like coins, some join in a ‘V’
A monkey swings close – (its toes start to bleed)
But this is all vine by me

We need to be careful or kids will grow…
